Appearance

Moderate-sized for the genus Anolis, males of A. Cooki may attain a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 7 cm (2.8 in).

Females are smaller, attaining 6 cm (2.4 in) SVL.

Range and habitat

A. Cooki is found in southwestern Puerto Rico, among them the island of Caja de Muertos. A. Cooki usually lives in forest, at altitudes from sea level to 100 m (330 ft). The species is endemic to Puerto Rico.

Habits
