Appearance

It has very subtle sexual dimorphism, the males are a slightly more vivid color than the females. The obverse is bright lime yellow. On the front wings it has an irregular black spot and on the wing tip it has a black patch with a greenish-yellow stripe in the middle.

Spanish Greenish Black-tip is a medium-sized species, between 32 and 36 mm. The length of the anterior wing is 17 to 23 mm.

It was first described by the Italian entomologist Fabiano in 1993.
