Range and habitat

L. Miyatai is found in Magdalena Department, Colombia. Lepidoblepharis miyatai is a unique sphaerodactyline gecko that occurs in dry coastal thorn forest of the Department of Magdalena, northern Colombia (Lamar 1985). The species is endemic to Colombia.
